Description: "Rainth made one last futile attempt, after years of refusal, to resist the queen, to make her see the danger in it. He whispered in her ear:
'Are you really willing to risk everything just for my touch?'
"She lean back into him; the only thing that she had ever been denied finally within her grasp. She couldn't think of anything else, nothing else mattered at the moment. 'Yes.' she said."
I decided that it was time to paint Zarah again, my fairy queen. She is seen here with Rainth (aka the Sun Prince, also in my gallery). Rainth isn't really a fairy; he is more of a deity or a demi-god. Zarah had a growing obsession for him. But she was off limits for him. The Goddess of the Fae forbid him to touch her. She was really jealous of Zarah, and also feared how powerful they could be together. He had a lot to do with how crazy and sadistic Zarah came to be. He drove her mad, as the Goddess knew he would. This was a moment of weakness for him.
