Commissions are currently: Open!

You can hire me to paint a picture for you. I do, however, claim the right to refuse any commission that I don't want to do. Whether it be that I do not think that the subject matter fits my style, that I won't be able to do it justice or that I simply do not have the time. Though if the latter is the case, the status line above should say that commissions are closed in red. Things that you can ask me to do are fantasy portraits, fairy art, gothic art. Just, first, take a look through my galleries to familiarize yourself with my style so that you know what to expect. I will NOT do anything pornographic or racist in nature! If you would like to have me paint from a photograph or have specific photo references in mind, please send those along with the other details for your commission request. And please make sure that the photos are clear and good quality, especially if you want it to look like the photograph. Having never seen you in real life, I can't improvise for what I cannot clearly see.

Things I need to know right away are:

• A detailed description--tell me exactly what it is that you have in mind. Please no "Can you paint me a fairy?"-type descriptions. Be more specific. A portrait/full body. # of characters, background, etc...
• Photo References--if you have a specific photo you want made into a fantasy portrait or something like that. It is not a requirement though. I just need a little time to gather my own material.
• The medium and size that you would like it in. (see table below)

I accept payment by Paypal (preferred method) or money order. U.S. dollars only. I require 50% of the payment before I begin any work on it. The remainder of the payment plus shipping (which is $5+ depending on the size of commission/location of client/any insurance) will be due after the final sketch is approved and before I begin work on painting. For drawings (sketchy or smooth), I will require 50% before I start and the rest after the final is approved by you and before it is shipped. All payments must be completed and cleared before I will ship the finished artwork. If you change your mind after the first 50% is paid, it is NOT refundable. I keep all work finished at that point and can do with it whatever I want. Full refunds are only given if I cannot complete the commission. I retain the copyright to all images, unless agreed on previously by both parties, and also all printing and publishing rights. All clients will be kept confidential. If there are any deadlines, please let me know at least one month ahead of the date. Also, if you would like the commission to be kept private (not posted online), please let me know in your email.

Please, only Serious requests! The prices are down below, so you know what to expect. Feel free to ask for a quote; I won't bite. ;)

The following are not the only sizes available. They are just the standards. Other options you may inquire about, but you can use this as a way to estimate the price. Smaller than listed will cost less, and bigger will be more. I will not do colored pencil drawings larger than 12 x 12." For pencil drawings (sketchy or smooth) I won't go larger than 11 x 14." And for watercolor/mixed media and acrylic, 12 x 16" is the maximum size.
